Structured Integro-Differential models in Mathematical Biology

Conference goal:

Structured Integro-Differential models describe dynamics of a set or population of single units or individuals characterized by specific, typically scalar, properties like age, size, fitness … Such models are applied in fields like population dynamics, epidemiology, neurobiology, cell mechanics and others. The mathematical analysis of these models has made significant advances in the last decade. The purpose of this workshop is to bring together some of the leading scientists in this research area and to define the state of the art as well as future directions.
